Media Interchange, a 501(c)(3) organization serving the environment, science, education, arts, and government communities. Media Interchange was founded in 1996 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation under the name of Science Interchange. Over the years we have broadened our reach and in 2005 we changed our name to Media Interchange.
Our mission statement reads: The specific and primary purposes of Media Interchange are: (a) to create a digital communications infrastructure for education, arts, governmental, science and environmental non-profit organizations; (b) to improve the quality and distribution of digital media content related to education, arts, government, science and the environment; (c) to train others to improve their competency in delivering this information and assist them in developing effective methods of distribution; (d) to explore and evaluate new ideas and techniques regarding the use of digital media; (e) to expand access to knowledge about media creation and distribution.
